เอกสารประกอบการสมัครในตำแหน่ง

1. ประวัติและประสบการณ์การทำงานด้านการสอน ด้านวิชาการ (curriculum vitae)
2. ผลงานวิชาการที่เคยตีพิมพ์เผยแพร่เป็นภาษาไทยหรือภาษาอังกฤษ เช่น ตัวอย่างบทความตีพิมพ์ในวารสารวิชาการนานาชาติที่อยู่ในฐานข้อมูลสากล หรือบทความในหนังสือที่ตีพิมพ์ โดยสำนักพิมพ์ต่างประเทศที่มีมาตรฐานได้รับการยอมรับในแวดวงวิชาการ
3. แผนการสอน (course syllabus) ฉบับภาษาไทย จำนวน ๑ ชุด ในรายวิชาหนึ่งวิชาใดของหลักสูตรโดยระบุเนื้อหา/หัวข้อการสอนแต่ละครั้ง เอกสารสำหรับนักศึกษาอ่านประกอบในแต่ละครั้ง การวัดผลและประเมินผลการเรียน (ทั้งหมด ๔๕ ชั่วโมง โดยอาจแบ่งเป็นสัปดาห์ละ ๓ ชั่วโมง ๑๕ สัปดาห์ หรือปรับตามความเหมาะสม)

คุณสมบัติทั่วไป 

๑.   ไม่จำกัดเพศ อายุไม่เกิน ๔๕ ปีนับถึงวันที่สมัคร

๒.   ถ้าเป็นชายต้องผ่าน หรือได้รับการยกเว้นการเกณฑ์ทหารแล้ว

  คุณสมบัติเฉพาะตำแหน่ง (Required qualifications) :

๑.  เป็นผู้สำเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาเอกในสาขาวิชาที่เกี่ยวข้องกับ วัฒนธรรมศึกษา (Cultural Studies)  สังคมวิทยา (Sociology) มานุษยวิทยา (Anthropology) มานุษยวิทยาประยุกต์ (Applied Anthropology) หรือสาขาใกล้เคียง หากมีความสามารถด้านการบูรณาการข้ามศาสตร์จะได้รับการพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ

๒.  มีประสบการณ์สอนหรือการบรรยายวิชาการในระดับอุดมศึกษา หรือเป็นผู้มีประสบการณ์ในการทำวิจัยในประเด็นวัฒนธรรมศึกษา สังคมวิทยา มานุษยวิทยา หรือสาขาที่ใกล้เคียง ควรมีผลงานวิจัย/หรืออยู่ระหว่างการพัฒนาผลงานเพื่อตีพิมพ์ทางวิชาการในด้านดังกล่าว

๓.  มีความสามารถในการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษระดับดี โดยมีผลคะแนน ดังนี้

เป็นผลการสอบที่มีระยะเวลาไม่เกิน ๒ ปี นับถึงวันที่ยื่นใบสมัคร (แนบผลคะแนน ณ วันที่สมัคร) หากไม่มีผลคะแนนดังกล่าวมหาวิทยาลัยจะไม่พิจารณาใบสมัคร

๔.   ผู้สมัครต้องเป็นผู้ไม่ติดเงื่อนไขการชดใช้ทุนกับหน่วยงานใด

คุณสมบัติอื่นๆ ซึ่งจะได้รับการพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ (Desirable qualifications)

1. มีเครือข่ายทางวิชาการหรือวิชาชีพในต่างประเทศ

2. มีประสบการณ์การทำงานหรือทำวิจัยเกี่ยวกับวัฒนธรรมแบบการบูรณาการข้ามศาสตร์

3. มีความรู้และทักษะการใช้ภาษาที่สาม เช่น ภาษาในกลุ่มประเทศเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ หรือกลุ่มประเทศยุโรป หรือประเทศอื่น ๆ ในระดับดี

4. มีความสามารถในการใช้เทคโนโลยีในการสอน หรือสามารถสร้างนวัตกรรมในการจัดการเรียนการสอนได้

หมายเหตุ: คุณสมบัติซึ่งจะได้รับการพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ ไม่ได้เป็นคุณสมบัติที่ผู้สมัครจำเป็นต้องมีครบทุกข้อ แต่หากผู้สมัครมีคุณสมบัติดังกล่าว จะได้รับการพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ

Qualifications

Supporting documents for the application must be submitted in the form of electronic files (PDF) only.

1. Copy of education qualification and a copy of the complete transcripts of Ph.D., master&#๓๙;s degree, and bachelor&#๓๙;s degree
2. Copy of English test scores (according to the English language test criteria set by Mahidol University)
3.  A summary of work experience in an academic field (curriculum vitae)  A list of academic works that have previously been published in Thai or in English
4. Course syllabus – Please select one course from the given catalogue, and prepare a teaching plan including the following information: ๑) course description, ๒) course learning outcomes, ๓) topics for ๑๕ lectures, ๔) reading and literature for each lecture, ๕) course evaluation and criteria, ๖) classroom activities and other necessary information.
5. Certification of employment (if any)

      General qualifications

1. No gender limit. Applicant’s age is not over ๔๕ by the application closure date (a Thai male applicant must have completed their military duties or completed their year ๓ of Reserve Officer Training Corps training).
2. Applicant has never been sentenced to imprisonment for a crime, unless it is for criminal negligence or a petty offense.       
3. It is not a serious contagious disease or have health problems that will prevent them from performing their duties
4. Any nationality, however, applicant must have the ability to read, write and Communicate in Thai and/ or English.

        General qualifications

1. Applicant’s age is not over ๔๕ by the application closure date (a Thai male applicant must have completed their military duties or completed their year ๓ of Reserve Officer Training Corps training).
2. Applicant has never been sentenced to imprisonment for a crime, unless it is a criminal negligence or a petty offense.

 Specific qualifications

1. Applicant must hold a doctoral degree relating to Cultural studies, Sociology, Anthropology, Applied Anthropology, or similar fields, and skills in interdisciplinary integration will be considered an advantage.
2. Applicant must be experienced in teaching or lecturing at a higher education level, or have experience in conducting research relating to cultural studies, sociology, anthropology, or similar fields. Applicant should have published research papers/or be in the process of developing papers for academic publication.
3. Applicant must be able to communicate in Thai and have qualified English language skills, which can be declared through successful results in the following schemes:

- IELTS (Academic module)       :    ๖     or higher

- TOEFL IBT (Internet based)     :  ๗๙     or higher

- TOEFL ITP                               : ๕๕o     or higher

- TOEFL CBT                             : ๒๑๓     or higher

- MU GRAD Test                        :   ๘o    or higher

- MU GRAD PLUS                       :   ๙o    or higher

Please note that the results declared must be within ๒ years from the application closure date. If proof of English language proficiency is not declared, the university will not consider the submitted application.

​Remark: If an applicant has completed their doctoral studies or higher with proof of English language proficiency submitted when enrolling in the degree program, the same proof can be used for this application. If an applicant has completed their doctoral studies in English in a country where English is an official language, declaring English language proficiency can be exempted.

        ๔. Applicant must not be subject to conditions applied by any scholarship program.

 Desirable qualifications

1. Applicant should have academic or professional networks in other countries.
2. Applicant should have experience or cross-disciplinary integration skills for research.
3. Skilled in communicating in a third language, skills using another language, preferably an ASEAN or European language.
4. Applicant should have the ability to use technology in teaching, or the ability to create teaching innovations for teaching and learning management

2. การให้คำปรึกษาในการทำวิทยานิพนธ์/สารนิพนธ์ของนักศึกษาในหลักสูตรศิลปศาสตรมหาบัณฑิต สาขาวิชาวัฒนธรรมศึกษา                                    และสาขาวิชาพิพิธภัณฑศึกษา
3. ทำผลงานวิชาการ อาทิ ตีพิมพ์เผยแพร่ ผลงานวิจัยและวิชาการ หนังสือ บริการวิชาการ
4. ปฏิบัติหน้าที่อื่น ๆ ตามที่ได้รับมอบหมาย

Responsibilities

Carry out research, teaching and the mentoring of students, as well as academic services in the relevant cultural field - especially in the field of museum studies - produce academic works for publication, research and other academic production, books, academic services, and perform other duties as assigned.

หลักเกณฑ์การคัดเลือก

1. ผู้สมัครจัดทำและนำเสนอแผนการสอน (course syllabus) ในวิชาใดวิชาหนึ่งของหลักสูตรฯที่สะท้อนประเด็นที่ตเชี่ยวชาญ/สนใจ มิติทางสังคมวัฒนธรรมในปัจจุบันและแนวโน้มอนาคต และความเชื่อมโยงกับแนวคิดหลักและกระบวนการทำงานวิจัยด้านวัฒนธรรมศึกษา จำนวน ๑ วิชา โดยระบุเนื้อหา/หัวข้อการสอนแต่ละครั้ง เอกสารสำหรับนักศึกษาอ่านประกอบในแต่ละครั้ง การวัดผลและประเมินผลการเรียน (ทั้งหมด ๔๕ ชั่วโมง โดยอาจแบ่งเป็นสัปดาห์ละ ๓ ชั่วโมง ๑๕ สัปดาห์ หรือปรับตามความเหมาะสม) โดยมีรายชื่อวิชาเพื่อเลือกวิชาใดวิชาหนึ่งสำหรับนำเสนอแผนการสอนดังนี้

       ๑. แนวคิดหลักทางด้านวัฒนธรรมศึกษา

                              ภาพรวมและความหลากหลายของแนวทางการศึกษาและนิยามวัฒนธรรม คุณค่าและการจัดประเภทวัฒนธรรม วัฒนธรรมประจำชาติ รสนิยมและชนชั้น วัฒนธรรมในชีวิตประจำวัน การศึกษาวัฒนธรรมผ่านมุมมองยุคหลังอาณานิคมนิยม การเมืองเรื่องของอัตลักษณ์และเพศสภาพ อัตลักษณ์กลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ มานุษยวิทยากับการพัฒนา วัฒนธรรมสุขภาพ วัฒนธรรมกับดนตรี ประวัติศาสตร์วัฒนธรรมผ่านวงศาวิทยา วาทกรรม การสร้างข้อเท็จจริงผ่านสื่อ ปรากฏการณ์นิยมและความเป็นตัวตนยุคหลังสมัยใหม่ ปรากฏการณ์นิยมกับพื้นที่จัดแสดงและวัฒนธรรมการมีส่วนร่วม

       ๒. ทฤษฎีเชิงวิพากษ์ทางวัฒนธรรมศึกษา

                            พัฒนาการและข้อถกเถียงของทฤษฎีเชิงวิพากษ์ร่วมสมัยที่เกี่ยวข้องกับวัฒนธรรมศึกษา คุณค่าและสิทธิที่เกี่ยวข้องกับความหลากหลายทางวัฒนธรรม ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างวัฒนธรรมศึกษากับภาวะสมัยใหม่ ภาวะหลังสมัย ใหม่ หลังโครงสร้างนิยม และเศรษฐศาสตร์การเมือง แนวโน้มใหม่ในการศึกษาร่างกายและการเมืองเรื่อง    อัตลักษณ์ ปฏิสัมพันธ์ทางวัฒนธรรมของพื้นที่เมืองและชนบท วัฒนธรรมร่วมสมัยและอุตสาหกรรมสร้างสรรค์        การเคลื่อนย้าย ความพรมแดนและพหุวัฒนธรรมผ่านทฤษฎีวิพากษ์

       ๓. ความหลากหลายทางเพศสภาพกับการเคลื่อนไหวทางสังคม

ประวัติศาสตร์สังคมและความหลากหลายทางเพศสภาพ สิทธิทางวัฒนธรรมที่เกี่ยวข้องกับ       เพศสภาพและองค์กรที่เกี่ยวข้อง ทฤษฎีเชิงวิพากษ์ พัฒนาการ และข้อโต้แย้งสำคัญของนักวิชาการและนักเคลื่อนไหวในแนวสตรีนิยม บทบาทและการเคลื่อนไหวทางสังคมที่เกี่ยวข้องกับความหลากหลายทางเพศเพื่อแก้ไขปัญหาความไม่เท่าเทียมกันผ่านมิติความหลากหลายทางเพศสภาพ

              ๒.  ผู้สมัครคัดเลือกผลงานวิชาการของท่านมานำเสนอ และเสวนากับคณะกรรมการฯ

              ๓.  การสอบสัมภาษณ์ โดยพิจารณาจากคุณสมบัติทางวิชาการ ความสามารถในการถ่ายทอดความรู้ ทัศนคติ และบุคลิกภาพที่เหมาะสมกับตำแหน่งอาจารย์ของมหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล

Selection Criteria

1. Applicant presents a lesson plan (course syllabus) for one of the courses listed below which reflects the issues of their expertise/interest in current socio-cultural dimensions and future trends and linked to principles and research work processes in cultural studies (๔๕ hours total, which may be divided into ๓ hours per week, ๑๕ weeks or adjusted as appropriate). The list of subjects to choose from for presenting the lesson plan is as follows: 

                   ๑. Principle Concepts in Cultural Studies

Overview and various definitions and approaches to cultures; cultural studies through the lens of power, discourse and signs; understanding cultural phenomena related to everyday practices; issues of class, race and gender.

                   ๒. Critical Theory in Cultural Studies

Developments and current debates on contemporary critical theory in relation to Cultural Studies, new trends of philosophical thoughts in analyzing culture and multi-cultures, culture as a tool for ideological construction, culture as politics, the theoretical issues and impacts of globalization and transnational cultures, postcolonial discourses and changes, culture and negotiations of meanings in different social contexts, cultural rights, gender and the Otherness, changes in social life within urbanized society, media and messages in digital society, critical debates on state cultural policies.

                   ๓. Gender Diversity and Social Movement

Social history and sexual diversity; cultural rights in relation to sexuality and related organizations; critical theory; key development and debates from feminist academics and activists; roles and social movements towards gender diversity to solve inequality problems through the lens of sexual diversity

        ๒.   Applicant makes a presentation based on their previous research, prospective research  or dissertation.

        ๓.   Applicant is interviewed by the selection committee. The selection criteria include  academic qualifications, pedagogical skills, vision and

               personality suitable for the lecturer position.

 Note: The screening committee will evaluate applicants preliminarily based on the qualifications stated in the job application documents submitted through the e-Recruitment Online system, in order to be eligible for further selection examination.

Salary rate

                       The rate for a doctoral degree holder is ๔๑,ooo baht. The successful candidate’s prior academic experience directly related to the position may qualify for a supplement to the base salary.
