คุณสมบัติทั่วไป :
๑. ไม่จำกัดเพศ (เพศชายต้องผ่านการเกณฑ์ทหารแล้ว หรือจบ ร.ด. ปี ๓)
๒. ไม่เคยถูกจำคุกโดยคำพิพากษาถึงที่สุดให้จำคุก เว้นแต่เป็นโทษสำหรับความผิดที่ได้กระทำโดยประมาทหรือความผิดลหุโทษ
คุณสมบัติเฉพาะตำแหน่ง (Required qualifications) :
- เป็นผู้สำเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาเอกในสาขาวิชาที่เกี่ยวข้องกับ วัฒนธรรมศึกษา (Cultural Studies) สังคมวิทยา (Sociology) มานุษยวิทยา (Anthropology) มานุษยวิทยาประยุกต์ (Applied Anthropology) หรือสาขาใกล้เคียง หากมีความสามารถด้านการบูรณาการข้ามศาสตร์จะได้รับการพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ
๒. มีประสบการณ์สอนหรือการบรรยายวิชาการในระดับอุดมศึกษา หรือเป็นผู้มีประสบการณ์ในการทำวิจัยในประเด็นวัฒนธรรมศึกษา สังคมวิทยา มานุษยวิทยา หรือสาขาที่ใกล้เคียง ควรมีผลงานวิจัย/หรืออยู่ระหว่างการพัฒนาผลงานเพื่อตีพิมพ์ทางวิชาการในด้านดังกล่าว
๓. มีความสามารถในการใช้ภาษาไทยในระดับดีมาก และภาษาอังกฤษตามเกณฑ์ที่กำหนด โดยมีผลคะแนน IELTS (Academic Module) คะแนนรวมไม่ต่ำกว่า ๖ คะแนน หรือ TOEFL IBT (Internet Based) คะแนนรวมไม่ต่ำกว่า ๗๙ คะแนน หรือ TOEFL- ITP คะแนนรวมไม่ต่ำกว่า ๕๕๐ คะแนน หรือ TOEFL- CBT คะแนนรวมไม่ต่ำกว่า ๒๑๓ คะแนน หรือ MU GRAD Test คะแนนรวมไม่ต่ำกว่า ๘๐ คะแนน และเป็นผลการสอบที่มีระยะเวลาไม่เกิน ๒ ปี นับถึงวันที่ยื่นใบสมัคร (แนบผลคะแนน ณ วันที่สมัคร)
กรณี เป็นผู้สำเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาเอกขึ้นไป และมีผลคะแนนทดสอบภาษาอังกฤษก่อนเข้าศึกษา โดยผลคะแนนทดสอบภาษาอังกฤษมากกว่าหรือเท่ากับเกณฑ์ที่กำหนดไว้ข้างต้น จะแนบผลคะแนนทดสอบภาษาอังกฤษก่อนเข้าศึกษาดังกล่าวแทนก็ได้ หรือ เป็นผู้สำเร็จการศึกษาจากหลักสูตรที่มีการเรียนการสอนเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ (หลักสูตรนานาชาติ) ในประเทศที่มีการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษเป็นภาษาทางการ จะไม่แนบผลคะแนนทดสอบภาษาอังกฤษดังกล่าวก็ได้
๔. ผู้สมัครต้องเป็นผู้ไม่ติดเงื่อนไขการชดใช้ทุนกับหน่วยงานใด
คุณสมบัติอื่นๆ ซึ่งจะได้รับการพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ (Desirable qualifications)
- มีเครือข่ายทางวิชาการหรือวิชาชีพในต่างประเทศ
- มีประสบการณ์การทำงานหรือทำวิจัยเกี่ยวกับวัฒนธรรมแบบการบูรณาการข้ามศาสตร์
- มีความรู้และทักษะการใช้ภาษาที่สาม เช่น ภาษาในกลุ่มประเทศเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ หรือกลุ่มประเทศยุโรป หรือประเทศอื่น ๆ ในระดับดี
- มีความสามารถในการใช้เทคโนโลยีในการสอน หรือสามารถสร้างนวัตกรรมในการจัดการเรียนการสอนได้
หมายเหตุ: คุณสมบัติซึ่งจะได้รับการพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ ไม่ได้เป็นคุณสมบัติที่ผู้สมัครจำเป็นต้องมีครบทุกข้อ แต่หากผู้สมัครมีคุณสมบัติดังกล่าว จะได้รับการพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ
General qualifications
1. Applicant’s age is not over 45 by the application closure date (a Thai male applicant must have completed their military duties or completed their year 3 of Reserve Officer Training Corps training).
2. Applicant has never been sentenced to imprisonment for a crime, unless it is a criminal negligence or a petty offense.
Specific qualifications
1. Applicant must hold a doctoral degree relating to cultural studies, sociology, anthropology, applied anthropology, or similar fields, and skills in interdisciplinary integration will be considered an advantage.
2. Applicant must be experienced in teaching or lecturing at a higher education level, or have experience in conducting research relating to cultural studies, sociology, anthropology, or similar fields. Applicant should have published research papers/or be in the process of developing papers for academic publication.
3. Applicant must be able to communicate in Thai and have qualified English language skills, which can be declared through successful results in the following schemes:
- IELTS (Academic module): 6.0 or higher
- TOEFL IBT (Internet based): 79 or higher
- TOEFL ITP: 550 or higher
- TOEFL CBT: 213 or higher
- MU GRAD Test: 80 or higher
Please note that the results declared must be within 2 years from the application closure date. If proof of English language proficiency is not declared, the university will not consider the submitted application.
Remark: If an applicant has completed their doctoral studies or higher with proof of English language proficiency submitted when enrolling in the degree program, the same proof can be used for this application. If an applicant has completed their doctoral studies in English in a country where English is an official language, declaring English language proficiency can be exempted.
4. Applicant must not be subject to conditions applied by any scholarship program.
Desirable qualifications
1. Applicant should have academic or professional networks in other countries.
2. Applicant should have experience or cross-disciplinary integration skills for research.
3. Apart from English, applicant should possess knowledge and good skills using another language, preferably an ASEAN or European language.
4. Applicant should have the ability to use technology in teaching, or the ability to create teaching innovations for teaching and learning management
Note: These qualifications will be considered as an advantage; they are not requirements.
