          Mahidol University has opening for the position of Instructor 1 position to work at Institute for Population and Social Research (IPSR) Institute for Population and Social Research
Qualifications
  • Thai or any other nationalities
  • Doctoral degree in demography or population studies (Experienced in formal demography or applied statistics is preferable.)
  • High proficiency in English (reading, speaking, listening, and writing)
  • Be a proficient user of English language. Applicant ’s English proficiency test result must meet the criteria of English Language examination for University Employees, B.E. 2559: 
    • IELTS (Academic Module) overall score of 6.0 or more  
    • TOEFL iBT (Internet-based) 79 or more
    • TOEFL-ITP 550 or more  
    • TOEFL-CBT 213 or more

If not having an English test score written above, the applicant must complete a degree program  taught in English (international program) from countries that have English as their official language.

For other nationalities: good proficiency in Thai is an advantage.

Job Description
  • Research and research project designs on demography or population studies
  • Teaching/training at graduate level, supervising, and providing academic assistance to students
  • Providing academic services, fostering arts and culture, and carrying out other duties as assigned  
Selection process

First round:  Eligible applicants will be shortlisted for written examination, presentation and interview.     

Second round:  Shortlisted applicants take written examination, present their academic works and have the interview (all in English).
Welfare bennefits

Salary: Minimum of 31,500 Baht/month

Housing Allowance: 8,000 Baht/month
