คุณสมบัติของผู้สมัคร
คุณสมบัติทั่วไป
๑. ไม่จำกัดเพศ อายุไม่เกิน ๔๕ ปีนับถึงวันที่สมัคร (เพศชายต้องผ่านการเกณฑ์ทหารแล้ว หรือจบ ร.ด. ปี ๓)
๒. ไม่เคยต้องโทษจำคุก โดยคำพิพากษาเพราะกระทำผิดทางอาญา
คุณสมบัติเฉพาะตำแหน่ง (Required qualifications) :
- เป็นผู้สำเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาเอก ในสาขาวิชาด้านภาษาศาสตร์คอมพิวเตอร์ วิศวกรรมคอมพิวเตอร์ วิศวกรรมข้อมูลขนาดใหญ่ วิทยาการคอมพิวเตอร์ วิทยาการข้อมูล หรือสาขาอื่นๆที่เกี่ยวข้อง
- มีความสามารถในการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษระดับดี โดยมีผลคะแนน IELTS (Academic Module) คะแนนรวมไม่ต่ำ
กว่า ๖ คะแนน หรือ TOEFL IBT (Internet Based) คะแนนรวมไม่ต่ำกว่า ๗๙ คะแนน หรือ TOEFL- ITP คะแนนรวมไม่ต่ำกว่า ๕๕๐ คะแนน หรือ TOEFL- CBT คะแนนรวมไม่ต่ำกว่า ๒๑๓ คะแนน หรือ MU GRAD Test คะแนนรวมไม่ต่ำกว่า ๘๐ คะแนน และเป็นผลการสอบที่มีระยะเวลาไม่เกิน ๒ ปี นับถึงวันที่ยื่นใบสมัคร (แนบผลคะแนน ณ วันที่สมัคร) หากไม่มีผลคะแนนดังกล่าวมหาวิทยาลัยจะไม่พิจารณาใบสมัคร
กรณี เป็นผู้สำเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาเอกขึ้นไป และมีผลคะแนนทดสอบภาษาอังกฤษก่อนเข้าศึกษา โดยผล
คะแนนทดสอบภาษาอังกฤษมากกว่าหรือเท่ากับเกณฑ์ที่กำหนดไว้ข้างต้น จะแนบผลคะแนนทดสอบภาษาอังกฤษก่อนเข้าศึกษาดังกล่าวแทนก็ได้ หรือ เป็นผู้สำเร็จการศึกษาจากหลักสูตรที่มีการเรียนการสอนเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ (หลักสูตรนานาชาติ) ในประเทศที่มีการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษเป็นภาษาทางการ จะไม่แนบผลคะแนนทดสอบภาษาอังกฤษดังกล่าวก็ได้
- เป็นผู้ที่มีประสบการณ์ในการทำวิจัยทางด้านการประมวลผลภาษาธรรมชาติ (natural language processing)
การรู้จำเสียงพูด (speech recognition) เครื่องแปลภาษาอัตโนมัติ (automatic machine translation) เทคโนโลยีคลังข้อมูลภาษาและเสียง (language and speech corpus technology) หรือ ปัญญาประดิษฐ์และการเรียนรู้ของเครื่อง (Artificial intelligence and machine learning)
- มีผลงานวิจัยหรืออยู่ระหว่างการพัฒนาผลงานทางวิชาการเพื่อตีพิมพ์ในฐานข้อมูลสากล
- มีความรู้และทักษะในการใช้ภาษาไทยและภาษาอังกฤษในการสื่อสารและการวิจัยในระดับดีมาก
คุณสมบัติซึ่งจะได้รับการพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ (Desirable qualifications) :
๑. เป็นผู้ที่มีผลงานวิจัยหรือมีประสบการณ์ในการทำวิจัยทางด้านเทคโนโลยีภาษาในภูมิภาคเอเชีย นอกเหนือจากภาษาไทย
๒. มีสิ่งประดิษฐ์ที่ได้รับสิทธิบัตรหรือมีประสบการณ์ในการขอสิทธิบัตร
๓. มีเครือข่ายทางวิชาการในต่างประเทศ
๔. มีความสามารถหรือมีประสบการณ์ในการทำงานวิจัยเชิงผสมผสาน (mixed methods research)
หมายเหตุ: คุณสมบัติซึ่งจะได้รับการพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ ไม่ได้เป็นคุณสมบัติที่ผู้สมัครจำเป็นต้องมีครบทุกข้อ แต่หากผู้สมัครมีคุณสมบัติดังกล่าว จะได้รับการพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ
Qualifications
General qualifications
1. Applicant’s age is not over 45 by the application closure date (a Thai male applicant must have completed their military duties).
2. Applicant has never been sentenced to imprisonment for a crime.
Specific qualifications
1. Applicant must hold a doctoral degree in computational linguistics, computer engineering, big data engineering, computer sciences, data sciences, or related fields.
2. Applicant should have research experience in natural language processing, speech cognition, automatic machine translation, languages and speech corpus technology, or artificial intelligence and machine learning.
3. Applicant with research outputs or experience in language technology with topics related to Asian languages other than Thai will be particularly noted.
4. Applicant must have a good competence in English language skills, which can be declared through successful results in the following schemes:
- IELTS (Academic module): 6.0 or higher
- TOEFL IBT (Internet based): 79 or higher
- TOEFL ITP: 550 or higher
- TOEFL CBT: 213 or higher
- MU GRAD Test: 80 or higher
Please note that the results declared must not be over 2 years from the application closure date. If proof of English language proficiency is not declared, the university will not consider the submitted application.
Remark: If applicant has completed their doctoral studies or higher with proof of English language proficiency submitted when enrolling to the degree program, the same proof can be used for this application. If applicant has completed their doctoral studies in English in a country where English is an official language, declaring English language proficiency can be exempted.
5. Applicant should have completed a research project, or currently develops research publication(s) for publication in the international database.
6. Applicant should have an excellent communicative English skill for work and research. Applicant with competence in Thai will be particularly noted.
7. Applicant with invention or innovation obtaining patents will be particularly noted.
8. Applicant with a broad international academic network will be particularly noted.
