คุณสมบัติทั่วไป :

๑. ไม่จำกัดเพศ (เพศชายต้องผ่านการเกณฑ์ทหารแล้ว หรือจบ ร.ด. ปี ๓)

๒. ไม่เคยถูกจำคุกโดยคำพิพากษาถึงที่สุดให้จำคุก เว้นแต่เป็นโทษสำหรับความผิดที่ได้กระทำโดยประมาทหรือความผิดลหุโทษ

คุณสมบัติเฉพาะตำแหน่ง (Required qualifications) :

1. เป็นผู้สำเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาเอกในวงวิชา ดังนี้ วัฒนธรรมศึกษา (Cultural Studies) วัฒนธรรมดิจิทัล (Digital Culture) ภูมิศาสตร์มนุษย์ (Human Geography) นิเวศวัฒนธรรม (Ecology of culture) ประวัติศาสตร์วัฒนธรรม (Cultural History) การจัดการวัฒนธรรม (Cultural Management) สังคมวิทยา (Sociology) พิพิธภัณฑศึกษา (Museum Studies) หรือสาขาใกล้เคียง หากมีความสนใจด้านวัฒนธรรมเมือง (Urban Culture) วัฒนธรรมชนบท (Rural Culture) และ วัฒนธรรมกับการพัฒนาสังคม (Culture and Social Development) พร้อมความรู้ความเชี่ยวชาญด้านทฤษฎีในเชิงสังคมวิทยา วัฒนธรรมศึกษา และการบูรณาการข้ามศาสตร์จะได้รับการพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ

๒. สามารถแสดงศักยภาพด้านการบูรณาการข้ามศาสตร์

๓. เป็นผู้มีประสบการณ์ในการทำวิจัยในประเด็นสังคมวัฒนธรรมดิจิทัล หรือวิธีวิจัยทางดิจิทัล ควรมีผลงาน วิจัย/หรืออยู่ระหว่างการพัฒนาผลงานเพื่อตีพิมพ์ทางวิชาการ

๔. มีความสามารถในการใช้ภาษาไทยในระดับดีมาก และภาษาอังกฤษตามเกณฑ์ที่กำหนด โดยมีผลคะแนน IELTS (Academic Module) คะแนนรวมไม่ต่ำกว่า ๖ คะแนน หรือ TOEFL IBT (Internet Based) คะแนนรวมไม่ต่ำกว่า ๗๙ คะแนน หรือ TOEFL- ITP คะแนนรวมไม่ต่ำกว่า ๕๕๐ คะแนน หรือ TOEFL- CBT คะแนนรวมไม่ต่ำกว่า ๒๑๓ คะแนน หรือ MU GRAD Test คะแนนรวมไม่ต่ำกว่า ๘๐ คะแนน และเป็นผลการสอบที่มีระยะเวลาไม่เกิน ๒ ปี นับถึงวันที่ยื่นใบสมัคร (แนบผลคะแนน ณ วันที่สมัคร)

กรณี เป็นผู้สำเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาเอกขึ้นไป และมีผลคะแนนทดสอบภาษาอังกฤษก่อนเข้าศึกษา โดยผลคะแนนทดสอบภาษาอังกฤษมากกว่าหรือเท่ากับเกณฑ์ที่กำหนดไว้ข้างต้น จะแนบผลคะแนนทดสอบภาษาอังกฤษก่อนเข้าศึกษาดังกล่าวแทนก็ได้  หรือ เป็นผู้สำเร็จการศึกษาจากหลักสูตรที่มีการเรียนการสอนเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ (หลักสูตรนานาชาติ) ในประเทศที่มีการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษเป็นภาษาทางการ จะไม่แนบผลคะแนนทดสอบภาษาอังกฤษดังกล่าวก็ได้

๕. ผู้สมัครต้องเป็นผู้ไม่ติดเงื่อนไขการชดใช้ทุนกับหน่วยงานใด

คุณสมบัติอื่นๆ ซึ่งจะได้รับการพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ (Desirable qualifications)

1. มีเครือข่ายทางวิชาการหรือวิชาชีพในต่างประเทศ
2. มีประสบการณ์การทำงานหรือทำวิจัยเกี่ยวกับวัฒนธรรมแบบการบูรณาการข้ามศาสตร์
3. มีความรู้และทักษะการใช้ภาษาที่สาม เช่น ภาษาในกลุ่มประเทศเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ หรือกลุ่มประเทศยุโรป หรือประเทศอื่น ๆ ในระดับดี
4. มีความสามารถในการใช้เทคโนโลยีในการสอน หรือสามารถสร้างนวัตกรรมในการจัดการเรียนการสอนได้

หมายเหตุ: คุณสมบัติซึ่งจะได้รับการพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ ไม่ได้เป็นคุณสมบัติที่ผู้สมัครจำเป็นต้องมีครบทุกข้อ แต่หากผู้สมัครมีคุณสมบัติดังกล่าว จะได้รับการพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ

General qualifications

1. Applicant’s age is not over 45 by the application closure date (a Thai male applicant must have completed their military duties).

2. Applicant has never been sentenced to imprisonment for a crime.

Specific qualifications

1. Applicant must hold a doctoral degree in one of the following fields: cultural studies, digital culture, human geography, ecology of culture, cultural history, cultural management, sociology, museum studies or related fields. If you are interested in urban culture, rural culture, and culture and social development, with knowledge and has expertise in the theory of sociology, cultural studies and cross-disciplinary integration, that would be an advantage.

2. Applicant must have cross-disciplinary integration skills.

3. Applicant must be experienced in conducting research on digital socio-cultural issues or digital research methods. Applicant should have published research papers/or be in the process of developing papers for academic publication.

4. Applicant must have good English language skills, which can be declared through successful results in the following schemes:

- IELTS (Academic module): 6.0 or higher

- TOEFL IBT (Internet based): 79 or higher

- TOEFL ITP: 550 or higher

- TOEFL CBT: 213 or higher

- MU GRAD Test: 80 or higher

Please note that the results declared must be within 2 years from the application closure date. If proof of English language proficiency is not declared, the university will not consider the submitted application.

      Remark: If applicant has completed their doctoral studies or higher with proof of English language proficiency submitted when enrolling in the degree program, the same proof can be used for this application. If applicant has completed their doctoral studies in English in a country where English is an official language, declaring English language proficiency can be exempted.

5. Applicant must not be subject to conditions applied by any scholarship program.

Desirable qualifications

1. Applicant should have academic or professional networks in other countries.
2. Applicant should have experience or in cross-disciplinary integration skills for research.
3. Apart from English, applicant should possess knowledge and good skills using another language, preferably an ASEAN or European language.
4. Applicant should have the ability to use technology in teaching, or the ability to create teaching innovations for teaching and learning management

หน้าที่รับผิดชอบโดยย่อ: ปฏิบัติงานหลักเกี่ยวกับการเรียนการสอน งานวิจัย และบริการวิชาการ การให้คำปรึกษาในการทำวิทยานิพนธ์/สารนิพนธ์ของนักศึกษาในหลักสูตรศิลปศาสตรมหาบัณฑิต สาขาวัฒนธรรมศึกษา และสาขาพิพิธภัณฑศึกษา ทำผลงานวิชาการ อาทิ ตีพิมพ์เผยแพร่ ผลงานวิจัยและวิชาการ หนังสือ บริการวิชาการ และปฏิบัติหน้าที่อื่นตามที่ได้รับมอบหมาย

Responsibilities

Carry out research, teaching and the mentoring of students, as well as academic services in the relevant cultural field - especially in the field of museum studies - produce academic works for publication, research and other academic production, books, academic services, and perform other duties as assigned.

หลักเกณฑ์การคัดเลือก

             ๑. ผู้สมัครจัดทำและนำเสนอแผนการสอน (course syllabus) ในวิชาใดวิชาหนึ่งของหลักสูตรฯ ที่สะท้อนประเด็นที่ตเชี่ยวชาญ/สนใจ มิติทางสังคมวัฒนธรรมในปัจจุบันและแนวโน้มอนาคต และความเชื่อมโยงกับแนวคิดหลักและกระบวนการทำงานวิจัยด้านวัฒนธรรมศึกษา จำนวน ๑ วิชา โดยระบุเนื้อหา/หัวข้อการสอนแต่ละครั้ง เอกสารสำหรับนักศึกษาอ่านประกอบในแต่ละครั้ง การวัดผลและประเมินผลการเรียน (ทั้งหมด ๔๕ ชั่วโมง โดยอาจแบ่งเป็นสัปดาห์ละ ๓ ชั่วโมง ๑๕ สัปดาห์ หรือปรับตามความเหมาะสม) โดยมีรายชื่อวิชาเพื่อเลือกวิชาใดวิชาหนึ่งสำหรับนำเสนอแผนการสอน ดังนี้

ระบบนิเวศวัฒนธรรมและภูมิศาสตร์วัฒนธรรม

วัฒนธรรมในฐานะองค์ประกอบที่มีพลวัตในระบบนิเวศ แนวคิดนิเวศวัฒนธรรมและการเปลี่ยนแปลงของระบบนิเวศวัฒนธรรมในยุคสมัยต่าง ๆ แนวคิดภูมิศาสตร์วัฒนธรรม สภาพแวดล้อมที่มีผลต่อการดำรงชีวิตของมนุษย์และวิถีทางวัฒนธรรมของกลุ่มชน เทคโนโลยีกับการผลิตโครงสร้างสังคม ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างมนุษย์และอมนุษย์ แนวคิดแอนโทรโปซีนและการปรับตัวให้เข้ากับระบบนิเวศใหม่

ความสัมพันธ์ทางวัฒนธรรมของชนบทกับเมือง

แนวคิดเชิงวิพากษ์เกี่ยวกับวัฒนธรรมความเป็นเมืองและชนบท ปัญหา เงื่อนไข และปัจจัยเกี่ยวกับนโยบายวัฒนธรรมชุมชน วาทกรรมการพัฒนาในบริบทประเทศไทย อัตลักษณ์ความเป็นเมืองและชนบทและการแสดงออกทางวัฒนธรรม งานศิลปะในท้องถิ่นที่หลากหลาย การใช้เทคโนโลยีดิจิทัลและวัฒนธรรมการมีส่วนร่วม แนวทางการกำหนดนโยบายวัฒนธรรมและการพัฒนาที่สอดคล้องกับความต้องการของชุมชน แนวคิดเรื่องเทศะรังสรรค์ เศรษฐกิจสร้างสรรค์และสังคมที่ยั่งยืน

Selection Criteria

1. Applicants presents a lesson plan (course syllabus) for one of the courses listed below which reflects the issues of their expertise/interest in current socio-cultural dimensions and future trends and linked to principles and research work processes in cultural studies, including the following: 1) course description, 2) course learning outcomes, 3) topics for 15 lectures, 4) reading and literature for each lecture, 5) course evaluation and criteria , and 6) classroom activities and other necessary information (45 hours total, which may be divided into 3 hours per week, 15 weeks or adjusted as appropriate). The list of subjects to choose from for presenting th lesson plan is as follows:

Principle Concepts in Cultural Studies

Overview and various definitions and approaches to cultures; cultural studies through the lens of power, discourse and signs; understanding cultural phenomenon related to everyday practices; issues of class, race and gender.

Practicum

Methods and approaches in conducting cultural studies-related research, different methods in studying cultures, selecting a research method, research practicality in critical ethnography and visual anthropology, research practicality in phenomenology, research practicality in semiotics and discourse analysis, research practicality in narrative research, research practicality in action research, research practicality in mixed method research, ethical issues in cultural research.

Museum and digital culture

Study on following the topics: digital culture, museum and digitalism, digital history, digital ecosystem, online exhibition - physical and digital, collecting and recording exhibits, preserving digital art, digital users in museums, museum with AI educational activities for the digital world, and museums with the concept of smart city

               Cultural Ecology and Cultural Geography

               Culture as a mobile component in the ecological system; the concept of cultural ecology and changes in cultural ecology in different periods; cultural geography concept; the environment and its impact on the lives and cultural practices of different groups; technology and the construction of social structure, human and non-human relation; anthropocene concept and adaptation to new ecology

               Rural-Urban Cultural Relations

               Critical concepts in relation to urban and rural spaces; problems, conditions and factors in community cultural policy; discourse on cultural development in Thai context; urban and rural identities and cultural expressions; art practices in different cultural spaces; digital technology and participatory cultures; guidelines on developing cultural policies and development that meet community needs; place making concept, creative economy and sustainable society

2. Applicant makes a presentation based on their previous research, prospective research or dissertation.

3. Applicant is interviewed by the selection committee. The selection criteria include academic qualifications, pedagogical skills, vision and personality suitable for the lecturer position.

Benefits

Salary rate: The rate for a doctoral degree holder is 32,450 baht. The successful candidate’s prior academic experience directly related to the position may qualify for a supplement to the base salary.
