Qualifications
|
|
- PhD in human rights, political sciences, social sciences, humanities, peace studies, or other related fields.
- Proficient in English. Able to teach in post-graduate level academic programs.
- Research expertise in human rights and/or peace studies. Evidence of the ability to develop post-graduate level courses in those fields. At least three years experience in research related to human rights and/or peace studies will be given priority.
- Candidates with a minimum of 3 publications in international peer-reviewed journals in the last 5 years will be given priority.
- Demonstrated ability to work in multi-cultural working environment.

Job Description
|
|
- Teach at post-graduate level (Masters and PhD) in International Programs, and in elective graduate courses offered by the IHRP
- Supervise Masters and PhD thesis research
- Perform administrative duties in post-graduate programs as needed
- Develop and conduct research projects on human rights and/or peace fields
- Actively contribute to IHRP’s missions in advancing education and research in peace and human rights
