คุณสมบัติของผู้สมัคร :
1. คุณวุฒิปริญญาเอกจากสถาบันที่ ก.พ. รับรอง หรือ สกอ. รับรอง ทั้งในประเทศและต่างประเทศ ในสาขาวิชาปรัชญา (เน้นปรัชญาตะวันตก) หรือสาขาอื่นที่เกี่ยวข้อง
2. มีความสนใจที่จะสอนและวิจัยในเชิงประยุกต์กับความท้าทายทางจริยธรรมและประเด็นทางสังคม สุขภาวะ คุณค่า และวัฒนธรรม อันเกิดจากความก้าวหน้าทางวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี การแพทย์ หรือความเปลี่ยนแปลงของสิ่งแวดล้อม
3. มีคุณสมบัติพร้อมตามประกาศคณะกรรมการมาตรฐานการอุดมศึกษา เรื่องเกณฑ์มาตรฐานหลักสูตรระดับบัณฑิตศึกษา พ.ศ. 2565 ตามที่ระบุใน ข้อ 9.3.6 (หน้า 7) และข้อ 9.4.6 (หน้า 9) ได้แก่ ต้องมีผลงานทางวิชาการภายหลังสำเร็จการศึกษาอย่างน้อย 1 เรื่องภายใน 2 ปี หรือ 2 เรื่องภายใน 4 ปี เพื่อจะทำหน้าที่เป็นอาจารย์ประจำหลักสูตร อาจารย์ผู้รับผิดชอบหลักสูตร อาจารย์ที่ปรึกษาวิทยานิพนธ์ และอาจารย์ผู้สอบวิทยานิพนธ์ ซึ่งเป็นไปตามเกณฑ์ที่บัณฑิตมหาวิทยาลัยใช้
4. มีความรู้และทักษะด้านภาษาอังกฤษ (อ่าน พูด ฟัง เขียน) ในระดับดี หรือ ดีมาก และผ่านเกณฑ์ตามประกาศมหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล โดยมีคะแนนการทดสอบภาษาอังกฤษประเภทใดประเภทหนึ่ง ดังนี้
- IELTS (Academic Module) คะแนนรวมไม่ตำกว่า 6 คะแนน หรือ
- TOEF IBT (Interest Based) ไม่ต่ำกว่า 79 คะแนน หรือ
- TOEFL ITP ไม่ต่ำกว่า 550 คะแนน หรือ
- TOEFL CBT ไม่ต่ำกว่า 213 คะแนน หรือ
- MU GRAD Test ไม่ต่ำกว่า 80 คะแนน หรือ
- MU GRAD PLUS ไม่ต่ำกว่า 90 คะแนน
ทั้งนี้ ผลสอบคะแนนภาษาอังกฤษดังกล่าว จะต้องมีอายุไม่เกิน 2 ปีนับตั้งแต่วันที่ประกาศผลสอบคะแนนภาษาอังกฤษ
กรณีผู้ที่บรรจุและแต่งตั้ง เปลี่ยนตำแหน่ง หรือเปลี่ยนประเภทการจ้างเป็นพนักงานมหาวิทยาลัย ไม่ผ่านการทดสอบภาษาอังกฤษตามเกณฑ์ที่กำหนดไว้ ข้อ 4 ให้สามารถบรรจุและแต่งตั้ง เปลี่ยนตำแหน่ง หรือเปลี่ยนประเภทการจ้างได้ต่อไปนี้
1) เป็นผู้สำเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาเอกขึ้นไป และมีผลคะแนนทดสอบภาษาอังกฤษก่อนเข้าศึกษา โดยผลคะแนนทดสอบภาษาอังกฤษมากกว่าหรือเท่ากับเกณฑ์ที่มหาวิทยาลัยกำหนด หรือ
2) เป็นผู้สำเร็จการศึกษาจากหลักสูตรที่มีการเรียนการสอนเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ (หลักสูตรนานาชาติ) ในประเทศที่มีการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษเป็นภาษาทางการ
Required Qualifications:
Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
- Possess a doctoral degree in philosophy, specifically in the area of western philosophies or related fields, obtained from an accredited institute, either domestic or international, recognized by the Office of the Civil Service Commission (OCSC).
- Exhibit a strong capability in teaching and conducting applied research related to ethical challenges and issues arising from scientific and medical technological advancements or environmental changes, with a focus on societies, well-being, values, and cultures.
- Eligible or ready to be eligible as per the announcement of the Standard Committee for Higher Education, regarding the criteria for graduate-level curriculum standards in the year 2022, as specified in sections 9.3.6 (page 7) and 9.4.6 (page 9). That is, the applicant is required to have academic publications following the completion of studies, with a minimum of one publication within 2 years, or two publications within 4 years, or three publications within 5 years, in order to serve as a regular course lecturer, course coordinator, thesis advisor, and thesis examiner, in compliance with the criteria set by the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the English language, encompassing reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills, at a good or very good level. Applicants must have achieved a minimum score on one of the English proficiency tests recognized by Mahidol University as follows:
- IELTS (Academic Module): Minimum total score of 6 OR
- TOEFL IBT (Internet-Based Test): Minimum score of 79 OR
- TOEFL ITP (Institutional Testing Program): Minimum score of 550 OR
- TOEFL CBT (Computer-Based Test): Minimum score of 213 OR
- MU GRAD Test: Minimum score of 80 OR
- MU GRAD PLUS: Minimum score of 90
The score result must be 2 years old or less on the date of score announcement.
If any successful candidate who is accepted and appointed, OR changing his or her position OR changing employment type of being a university employee fails the English Proficiency Test stated in the criteria in Item 4, he or she is allowed to be accepted and appointed while changing the position or employment type when;
- The successful candidate must hold a doctoral degree or higher and have taken an English Proficiency Test prior to commencing their studies, achieving a score equivalent to or above the standard score as defined by the University's criteria, OR
2. The successful candidate must have graduated from a program of study conducted in English as the medium of instruction (an international program) in any country where English is an official language.
