คุณสมบัติของผู้สมัคร 

คุณสมบัติทั่วไป :

๑. ไม่จำกัดเพศ อายุไม่เกิน ๔๕ ปีนับถึงวันที่สมัคร  (เพศชายต้องผ่านการเกณฑ์ทหารแล้ว หรือจบ ร.ด. ปี ๓)

๒. ไม่เคยถูกจำคุกโดยคำพิพากษาถึงที่สุดให้จำคุก เว้นแต่เป็นโทษสำหรับความผิดที่ได้กระทำโดยประมาทหรือความผิดลหุโทษ

๓. ไม่เป็นโรคติดต่อร้ายแรง หรือมีปัญหาทางสุขภาพที่จะทำให้ไม่สามารถปฏิบัติหน้าที่ได้

๔. ไม่จำกัดสัญชาติ แต่ต้องมีความสามารถในการอ่าน เขียน  และสื่อสารภาษาไทยและ/หรือภาษาอังกฤษได้ดี

คุณสมบัติเฉพาะตำแหน่ง (Required qualifications) :

๑. เป็นผู้สำเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาเอก ด้านภาษาและการสื่อสารระหว่างวัฒนธรรม หรือสาขาอื่นๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้อง

๒. มีความสามารถในการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษระดับดี โดยมีผลคะแนน IELTS (Academic Module) คะแนนรวมไม่ต่ำกว่า ๖.๕ คะแนน หรือ TOEFL IBT (Internet Based)  คะแนนรวมไม่ต่ำกว่า ๗๙ คะแนน หรือ TOEFL- ITP  คะแนนรวมไม่ต่ำกว่า ๕๕๐ คะแนน หรือ TOEFL- CBT คะแนนรวมไม่ต่ำกว่า ๒๑๓ คะแนน หรือ MU GRAD Test  คะแนนรวมไม่ต่ำกว่า ๙๐ คะแนน  และเป็นผลการสอบที่มีระยะเวลาไม่เกิน ๒ ปี นับถึงวันที่ยื่นใบสมัคร (แนบผลคะแนน ณ วันที่สมัคร) หากไม่มีผลคะแนนดังกล่าว สถาบันฯ จะไม่พิจารณาใบสมัคร

กรณี เป็นผู้สำเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาเอกขึ้นไป และมีผลคะแนนทดสอบภาษาอังกฤษก่อนเข้าศึกษา โดยผลคะแนนทดสอบภาษาอังกฤษมากกว่าหรือเท่ากับเกณฑ์ที่กำหนดไว้ข้างต้น จะแนบผลคะแนนทดสอบภาษาอังกฤษก่อนเข้าศึกษาดังกล่าวแทนก็ได้  หรือ เป็นผู้สำเร็จการศึกษาจากหลักสูตรที่มีการเรียนการสอนเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ (หลักสูตรนานาชาติ) ในประเทศที่มีการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษเป็นภาษาทางการ จะไม่แนบผลคะแนนทดสอบภาษาอังกฤษดังกล่าวก็ได้

๓. มีประสบการณ์สอนและ/หรือ การบรรยายวิชาการและ/หรือ การนำเสนอผลงานวิชาการในสถาบันระดับอุดมศึกษา

๔. มีประสบการณ์ในการทำวิจัย

คุณสมบัติซึ่งจะได้รับการพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ (Desirable qualifications) :

๑. มีประสบการณ์การทำงานวิจัย (ที่นอกเหนือจากวิทยานิพนธ์) เกี่ยวกับการสื่อสารระหว่างวัฒนธรรม การสื่อสารดิจิทัล การวิจัยเพื่อขับเคลื่อนนโยบายการสื่อสาร และเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศและการสื่อสาร

๒. มีความสามารถในการใช้วิธีวิจัยที่ทันสมัยในการทำวิจัย เช่น การใช้วิทยาศาสตร์ข้อมูล (Data Science)  การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยระบบสารสนเทศสมัยใหม่ การวิจัยเชิงอนาคต การทำงานวิจัยเชิงผสมผสาน (mixed methods research) เป็นต้น

๓. มีตำแหน่งวิชาการ หรือมีผลงานวิชาการที่พร้อมจะยื่นขอตำแหน่งวิชาการของมหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล

๔. มีผลงานวิจัยตีพิมพ์ในฐานข้อมูลสากล ตามเกณฑ์ กพอ. เช่น ฐานข้อมูล SCOPUS เป็นต้น หนังสือ หรือบทความในหนังสือที่ตีพิมพ์โดยสำนักพิมพ์ต่างประเทศ โดยเป็นชื่อแรก หรือผู้ประพันธ์หลัก และไม่เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของวิทยานิพนธ์  

๕. มีความรู้ด้านภาษาที่ ๓ (นอกเหนือจากภาษาไทยและภาษาอังกฤษ)

๖. มีเครือข่ายทางวิชาการในประเทศ หรือต่างประเทศ ที่สนับสนุนพันธกิจของหลักสูตรศิลปศาสตรมหาบัณฑิต สาขาวิชาภาษาและการสื่อสารระหว่างวัฒนธรรม และ/หรือ สถาบันวิจัยภาษาและวัฒนธรรมเอเชีย

๗. มีความสามารถในการใช้เทคโนโลยีในการวิจัยสมัยใหม่ หรือสามารถใช้โปรแกรมคอมพิวเตอร์สำเร็จรูปใหม่ๆ ช่วยในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล

หมายเหตุ:           คุณสมบัติซึ่งจะได้รับการพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ ไม่ได้เป็นคุณสมบัติที่ผู้สมัครจำเป็นต้องมีครบทุกข้อ แต่หากผู้สมัครมีคุณสมบัติดังกล่าว จะได้รับการพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ

General Qualifications

1. No gender restriction, age not over 45 years on the date of application (male applicants must be exempted from Thai military service)
2. Must not have committed any offence punishable with imprisonment

3. No serious contagious disease or health problems that will prevent them from performing their duties

4. Any nationality, however candidate must have the ability to read, write and communicate in Thai and/or English

 Required Qualifications

1.  Ph.D. in language and intercultural communication or related field
2.  A good command of English is essential, evidence of which includes the following; an overall IELTS (Academic Module) score not less than 6.5; TOEFL IBT (Internet Based) total score not less than 79/ TOEFL- ITP total score not less than 550/ TOEFL- CBT total score of not less than 213; MU GRAD Test with a total score of not less than 90. The results must be from not earlier than 2 years prior to the date of application, else the application will not considered.

In the case where an applicant with Ph.D. obtained English language test results before undertaking their Ph.D. studies, and their results successfully meet the specified criteria set above, the applicant can attach those results of the English language test used for their Ph.D. study. Applicants who

   graduated from a course taught in English (International Program) or graduated from a country where English is the official language, are exempt from providing an English language result.

3. Teaching experience and/or academic lectures and/or presentation of academic work at higher education institutions.

4. Experience in conducting research.

Desirable qualifications:

1. Research experience (besides thesis) in intercultural communication, digital communication and information and communication technology

2. Ability to use modern research methods in conducting research, such as the use of data science, data analysis with modern information systems. futuristic research mixed methods research, etc.

3. Have held an academic position or possess academic results that are ready to apply in an academic position at Mahidol University

4. Have had published research in international databases according to the criteria of the Civil Service Commission, such as the SCOPUS database, books or articles in books published by foreign publishers, or listed as first author or main author that is not part of candidate’s thesis

5. Knowledge of third language (apart from Thai and English).

6. Member in an academic network in Thailand or abroad that will support the mission of the Master of Arts in language and intercultural communication and/or the institute

7. Ability to use technology in modern research or can use new ready-made computer programs that help in data analysis

Note: desirable qualifications are an advantage but it is not essential.

ลักษณะงานที่ปฏิบัติ

หน้าที่รับผิดชอบโดยสังเขป : ปฏิบัติงานหลักเกี่ยวกับการเรียนการสอน ให้คำปรึกษาในการทำวิทยานิพนธ์/
สารนิพนธ์ของนักศึกษาในหลักสูตรศิลปศาสตรมหาบัณฑิต สาขาภาษาและการสื่อสารระหว่างวัฒนธรรม เขียนขอทุนวิจัย ผลิตผลงานวิชาการ ได้แก่ ตีพิมพ์เผยแพร่ ผลงานวิจัยและวิชาการ หนังสือ บริการวิชาการ ทำนุบำรุงศิลปวัฒนธรรม เป็นต้น และปฏิบัติหน้าที่อื่นๆ ตามที่ได้รับมอบหมาย เช่น การบูรณาการการทำงานกับหลักสูตรอื่นๆ ศูนย์ และกลุ่มวิจัยต่างๆ ของสถาบันฯ

Responsibilities

To carry out research, teaching and serve as thesis advisor for students, as well as academic services in the relevant field - especially in the above related disciplines; undertake academic works, including publishing Research and academic results, books; and other duties as assigned, such as integrating work with other courses, centers and research groups of the institute

หลักเกณฑ์การคัดเลือก   

การคัดเลือก : คณะกรรมการดำเนินการสอบคัดเลือกบุคคลเพื่อบรรจุเป็นพนักงานมหาวิทยาลัย เป็นผู้พิจารณาคุณสมบัติเบื้องต้นตามเกณฑ์คุณสมบัติจากเอกสาร จึงขอให้ผู้สมัครส่งเอกสารหลักฐาน พร้อมเอกสารประกอบที่เป็นการนำเสนอคุณสมบัติซึ่งจะได้รับการพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษมาพร้อมกันด้วย เพื่อประกอบการพิจารณา  หากผ่านเกณฑ์คุณสมบัติ (คุณสมบัติทั่วไป คุณสมบัติเฉพาะตำแหน่ง และคุณสมบัติซึ่งจะได้รับการพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ)  ทางคณะกรรมการดำเนินการสอบคัดเลือกจะได้เชิญท่านมาสู่กระบวนการ สอบสอน นำเสนอผลงานวิชาการ และสอบสัมภาษณ์ ดังนี้

๑. การสอบสอน

๑.๑ ให้ผู้สมัครจัดทำและนำเสนอแผนการสอน (course syllabus) จำนวน ๑ วิชา โดยระบุคำอธิบายรายวิชา และหัวข้อการสอนแต่ละครั้ง เอกสารสำหรับนักศึกษาอ่านประกอบในแต่ละครั้ง การวัดผลและประเมินผลการเรียน (แผนการสอน ๑ รายวิชา ประกอบด้วยการเรียนการสอน จำนวน ๑๕ ครั้งๆ ละ ๓ ชั่วโมง รวมทั้งหมด ๔๕ ชั่วโมง) โดยมีรายวิชาที่ผู้สมัครสามารถเลือกจัดทำแผนการสอนของรายวิชาใดวิชาหนึ่ง ดังนี้

1. ทฤษฎีการสื่อสารระหว่างวัฒนธรรม
2. การออกแบบและปฏิบัติการวิจัยด้านการสื่อสารระหว่างวัฒนธรรม
3. การวิเคราะห์ภาษาเพื่อการสื่อสารระหว่างวัฒนธรรม
4. การสื่อสารระหว่างวัฒนธรรมเชิงกลยุทธ์
5. สัญวิทยาทางการวิเคราะห์การสื่อสารและวัฒนธรรม
6. การจัดการการสื่อสารระหว่างวัฒนธรรมในยุคดิจิทัล

๑.๒  ให้ผู้สมัครสอบสอน ๑ หัวข้อ ภายในเวลา ๑๕-๒๐ นาที (ให้ผู้สมัครเลือกหัวข้อใดหัวข้อหนึ่ง ตามแผนการสอนที่ผู้สมัครจัดทำขึ้นในข้อ ๑.๑)

๒.  การนำเสนอผลงานวิชาการ

ให้ผู้สมัครนำเสนอผลงานวิชาการที่ตนเป็นผู้ดำเนินการ เช่น งานวิจัย หรือวิทยานิพนธ์ เป็นต้น ภายในเวลา ๑๕-๒๐ นาที

๓.  การสอบสัมภาษณ์

ให้ผู้สมัครเข้ารับการสัมภาษณ์ โดยพิจารณาจากคุณสมบัติทางวิชาการ ความสามารถในการถ่ายทอดความรู้ ทัศนคติ และบุคลิกภาพที่เหมาะสมกับตำแหน่งอาจารย์ของมหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล

Selection Criteria

1.    Teaching Assessment

1. Applicants are required to prepare and present a lesson plan (course syllabus) for 1 subject by specifying a course description and reading list, assessment and assessment of learning outcomes (one lesson plan consisting of 15 lessons of 3 hours each, a total of 45 hours. Applicants can choose from the following courses to create their lesson plan.

1) intercultural communication theory

2) design and conduct research on intercultural communication

3) language analysis for intercultural communication

4) strategic Intercultural Communication

5) analytical semiotics, communication and culture.

6) intercultural communication management in the digital age

1.2 Applicant teaches one topic for 15-20 minutes (Applicant can choose one topic according to the lesson plan that the applicant has prepared in item 1.1)

2.    Academic Presentation

Applicants present their academic work, such as research or thesis for 15-20 minutes.

3.    Interview will consider the applicant’s academic qualifications, ability to transfer knowledge, and personality to determine if they are suitable.

อัตราเงินเดือน : คุณวุฒิปริญญาเอก ๓๒,๔๕๐ บาท (ยังไม่รวมเงินเพิ่มหากมีประสบการณ์ตรงที่เป็นประโยชน์ในการปฏิบัติหน้าที่)

Renumeration and Benefits

Salary rate: The rate for a doctoral degree holder is 32,450 baht. The successful applicant’s prior academic experience directly related to the position may enable a top-up to the base salary.

Other:  Social security fund and health services for Mahidol University’s employees.
