- Applicants must possess the required qualifications before screening and interview
- Qualified applicants will undergo an applicant screening process as follows:
1) Teaching demonstration
1.1 Qualified applicants must prepare a course syllabus consisting of course description, lesson topics, reading list, and student assessment and evaluation (a course syllabus covers 15 class sessions lasting three hours each and 45 hours in total) for one of the following courses:
- LCIC 505 Intercultural Communication Theories
- LCIC 506 Language Analysis for Intercultural Communication
- LCIC 531 Strategic Intercultural Communication
- LCIC 536 Semiology in Communication and Culture Analysis
- LCIC 575 Participatory Communication for Social Change
1.2 Qualified applicants choose one lesson topic from the course syllabus and give a 15-to-20-minute teaching demonstration.
2) Presentation on academic output
Qualified applicants give a 15-to-20-minute presentation on their academic output such as a research project or thesis.
3)Interview
Qualified applicants will be interviewed and evaluated on the basis of academic qualifications, instructional skills, attitudes, and personality.
Note:
1. Applicants who complete the application form via e-Recruitment Online must ensure that all required documents (all certified true copies) in pdf format are successfully uploaded to the submission portal. Applications with missing documents will not be considered.
2. Applicants will be pre-screened and selected for the applicant screening process by the recruitment committee according to the application submitted via e-Recruitment Online or email.
