- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Valid teaching certification or license
- Strong command of the English language
- Experience in teaching ELA at the secondary level
- Familiarity with US/international curricula and Advanced Placement (AP) programs
- Proficiency in using technology for educational purposes

- Instruct students in English Language Arts, using student-centered approaches and best
practices
- Prepare course objectives and outline for course of study following curriculum and
department guidelines
- Design and implement engaging units and lessons that focus on developing students’ reading,
writing, speaking, listening, and presentation skills
- Foster critical thinking and problem-solving abilities through literature exploration and
language structure analysis
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Perform other assigned duties (extracurricular activities, supervision duties, exam proctoring, etc.)
