    1. A degree in education and/or TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language.)
    2. Excellent subject knowledge and an interest in the wider curriculum.
    3. Ability to teach across all age ranges, utilising various styles of teaching.
    4. A proven track record of consistently good/outstanding teaching.
    5. Natural authority and presence within the classroom.
    6. The ability to negotiate behavioural problems to retain authority within the classroom
    7. The ability to differentiate materials and teaching methods to meet the needs of the learners.
    8. An understanding of the issues involved in developing the curriculum M 4 – 6 (UK Yrs 11-13, USA Grades 10-12)
  • Description :
    • Lesson planning and preparation
    • Checking and assessing work
    • Attending staff meetings
    • Liaising with parents
    • Monitoring break and extra-curricular activities
    • Ongoing professional development
    • Homeroom teaching and Guidance classes
    • Usual contact time per week is between 20-25 hours
