    • Bachelor’s degree in Science (Biology major), Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
    • Valid teaching certification or license
    • Strong command of the English language
    • Experience in teaching Biology at the secondary level
    • Experience with teaching health beneficial but not required
    • Familiarity with US curriculum and Advanced Placement (AP) programs
    • Proficiency in using technology for educational purposes
    • Experience teaching English Language Learners

    Job Description :

    • Instruct students in Biology, using student-centered approaches and best practices
    • Instruct students in health and life skills, using student-centered approaches and best practices
    • Prepare course objectives and outline for course of study following curriculum and department guidelines
    • Design and implement engaging units and lessons that focus on developing students’ scientific knowledge
    • Foster critical thinking and problem-solving abilities through scientific methods and teaching techniques
    • Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback through differentiated assessment
    • Attend all team meetings and teach in alignment with the other biology teachers
    • Attend all team meeting and teach in alignment with the other health and life skills teachers
    • Perform other assigned duties (extracurricular activities, supervision duties, exam proctoring, etc.)
