Qualifications:

• At least a bachelor degree in Guidance and Counseling, Education, or a related field.
• An educational background and experiences aboard will be advantageous.
• At least one year of experience in educational guidance or counseling within an international or academic setting, with a solid understanding of both Thai and international education systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good analytical skills and strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and manage events and activities effectively.
• Team-oriented and collaborative mindset is preferable.

Job Description:

Overall responsibilities:

Academic consultant commits to provide academic guidance and support to MUIDS students. With knowledge and comprehension in university admission processes, Educator helps the students explore and plan for most suitable university pathways in Thailand and abroad.

Specific Duties:

• Educate students on Thai university admissions (including scholarship opportunities and quota offered) and on the UCAS and Common App system.

• Provide guidance on Thai and international university admissions including application procedures, required standardized tests and documents (such as portfolio, statement of purpose recommendation letters, reference letters, etc.) scholarship opportunities, and interview preparation.
• Support students throughout the application process.
• Keep updating on relevant information such as tertiary-level educational news and trends, application and admission, and program specifications and requirements, and any changes that may arise.
• Develop and strengthen relationship with Thai and international universities.
• Organize events and workshops (e.g., university visit and university fair) for students, as well as parents, to explore options for their higher education.
• Collaborate with counseling team members to ensure cohesive student support.
• Screen and manage exchange programs for students with knowledge and comprehension to ensure that the students transfer back to MUIDS with qualified conditions.
• Record, track, analyze and report student graduation statistics with accuracy.
• Be responsible for other tasks assigned by the school administrators.
