    Qualification: **Doctorate in demography or a related field in applied demography, such as population studies, statistics, data sciences, public health, epidemiology, geography, economics, or sociology: -Must be capable of and committed to teaching one or more of the following: demography, direct or indirect demographic techniques. -Must have research interests in one or more of the following areas: demography, population projection, sexual and reproductive health, aging, migration, labor, children and youth, climate change, or other emerging issues. **Ph.D. candidates in demography or a related field in applied demography: -Must have completed the required coursework and qualification examination, or -Passed the thesis proposal examination, or -Passed the thesis defense and be in the process of publishing thesis research for graduation. **Must be proficient in both Thai and English

    -Securing research grants -Conducting research and publication -Teaching/training, supervising, and providing academic mentorship to students at the graduate level -Carrying out other academic service duties as assigned -For selected Ph.D. candidates: initial appointment will be as “Assistant Lecturer,” with promotion to Lecturer upon meeting the university’s criteria after graduation.
