1. Student Discipline Case Management
- Receive, log, and track all discipline reports submitted daily by teachers through the reporting system or email.
- Review the details of each case to determine appropriate next steps (investigation,
student meeting, follow-up, consequence, referral).
- Communicate with teachers to clarify incidents when needed.
- Meet with students to reflect on their actions and support them in understanding behavior expectations.
- Apply restorative practices when appropriate and help students create commitments for improvement.
- Update reporting teachers on progress, actions taken, and closure of cases.
- Ensure each case is properly recorded, completed, and closed in the discipline database.
2. Attendance Monitoring & Support
- Provide attendance support during lunch time on behalf of the Attendance Officer when needed.
- Assist with student check-ins, recording absences, and responding to attendance-related questions from students, staff, and parents.
- Coordinate with the Attendance Officer for accurate daily data entry and follow-up.
3. Campus Service & Student Supervision
- Provide service at lunch time by supervising students, ensuring safety and proper behavior.
- Support positive school culture by being visible, approachable, and proactive during high traffic periods.
4. Communication & Reporting
- Communicate professionally with students, teachers, and parents regarding discipline or attendance concerns.
- Prepare summaries, weekly reports, or updates for the Head of Office as needed.
- Draft proposals, letters, and follow-up communications as assigned (e.g., dormitory proposals, welfare support, behavior plans).
5. Behavioral Support & Intervention
- Understand the root causes behind student behavior and apply appropriate strategies depending on each case.
- Provide guidance to students on self-control, responsibility, reflection, and problem-solving.
- Work collaboratively with counselors when referral or additional support is required
6. Cross-Department Collaboration
- Coordinate with the Academic Department, Homeroom Teachers, Counselors, Dormitory Staff, and Security regarding cases involving multiple departments.
- Prepare proposals or documentation required for dormitory discipline cases or follow-up.
7. Professional Learning & Development
- Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on discipline practices, student support strategies, and school procedures.
- Apply new knowledge to improve workflow, innovate processes, and increase efficiency and effectiveness of the discipline team.
- Attend training or workshops assigned by the Head of Office.
8. Administrative & Operational Duties
- Maintain organized records of all discipline and attendance activities.
- Support department operations such as forms, announcements, meeting preparation, and event coordination.
- Complete any other duties or special projects assigned by the Head of Office.
9. Service Mindset & Team Contribution
- Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to help across departments/offices when needed.
- Uphold a service-oriented approach when supporting students, staff, and parents.
