คุณสมบัติทั่วไป :

๑. ไม่จำกัดเพศ (เพศชายต้องผ่านการเกณฑ์ทหารแล้ว หรือจบ ร.ด. ปี ๓)

๒. ไม่เคยถูกจำคุกโดยคำพิพากษาถึงที่สุดให้จำคุก เว้นแต่เป็นโทษสำหรับความผิดที่ได้กระทำโดยประมาทหรือความผิดลหุโทษ

๑. เป็นผู้สำเร็จการศึกษาปริญญาเอก ในสาขาวิชาที่เกี่ยวข้องกับเศรษฐกิจสร้างสรรค์ วัฒนธรรมดิจิทัล สื่อศึกษา การออกแบบเมือง หรือสาขาใกล้เคียง

๒. มีประสบการณ์สอนหรือการบรรยายวิชาการในระดับอุดมศึกษา ควรมีผลงานวิจัย/หรืออยู่ระหว่างการพัฒนาผลงานเพื่อตีพิมพ์ทางวิชาการในด้านดังกล่าว

๓. มีความสามารถในการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษตามเกณฑ์ที่กำหนด โดยมีผลคะแนน IELTS (Academic Module) คะแนนรวมไม่ต่ำกว่า ๖ คะแนน หรือ TOEFL IBT (Internet Based) คะแนนรวมไม่ต่ำกว่า ๗๙ คะแนน หรือ TOEFL- ITP คะแนนรวมไม่ต่ำกว่า ๕๕๐ คะแนน หรือ TOEFL- CBT คะแนนรวมไม่ต่ำกว่า ๒๑๓ คะแนน หรือ MU GRAD Test คะแนนรวมไม่ต่ำกว่า ๘๐ คะแนน และเป็นผลการสอบที่มีระยะเวลาไม่เกิน ๒ ปี นับถึงวันที่ยื่นใบสมัคร (แนบผลคะแนน ณ วันที่สมัคร)

กรณี เป็นผู้สำเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาเอกขึ้นไป และมีผลคะแนนทดสอบภาษาอังกฤษก่อนเข้าศึกษา โดยผลคะแนนทดสอบภาษาอังกฤษมากกว่าหรือเท่ากับเกณฑ์ที่กำหนดไว้ข้างต้น จะแนบผลคะแนนทดสอบภาษาอังกฤษก่อนเข้าศึกษาดังกล่าวแทนก็ได้ หรือเป็นผู้สำเร็จการศึกษาจากหลักสูตรที่มีการเรียนการสอนเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ (หลักสูตรนานาชาติ) ในประเทศที่มีการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษเป็นภาษาทางการ จะไม่แนบผลคะแนนทดสอบภาษาอังกฤษดังกล่าวก็ได้

๔. ผู้สมัครต้องเป็นผู้ไม่ติดเงื่อนไขการชดใช้ทุนกับหน่วยงานใด

คุณสมบัติอื่นๆ ซึ่งจะได้รับการพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ (Desirable qualifications)

๑. มีเครือข่ายทางวิชาการในต่างประเทศ หรือประสบการณ์ทำวิจัยทางด้านพหุภาษา พหุวัฒนธรรม ในภูมิภาคเอเชียหรืออาเซียน สนใจการทำงานในเชิงเปรียบเทียบ หรือประเด็นการวิจัยข้ามชาติ

๒. มีความรู้และทักษะการใช้ภาษาที่สามในระดับดี

๓. มีความสามารถในการใช้เทคโนโลยีในการวิจัยสมัยใหม่ หรือสามารถใช้โปรแกรมใหม่ ๆ ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลสำหรับงานวิจัยด้านวัฒนธรรมศึกษา

๔. มีความสามารถหรือมีประสบการณ์ในการทำงานวิจัยในเชิง mixed methods/digital research/big data qualitative research

๕. มีประสบการณ์ทำงานวิจัยด้านการบริหารจัดการ ความเป็นผู้ประกอบการ เศรษฐกิจฐานวัฒนธรรม

หมายเหตุ: คุณสมบัติซึ่งจะได้รับการพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ ไม่ได้เป็นคุณสมบัติที่ผู้สมัครจำเป็นต้องมีครบทุกข้อ แต่หากผู้สมัครมีคุณสมบัติดังกล่าว จะได้รับการพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ

 General qualifications

1. No gender limit (a Thai male applicant must have completed their military duties or completed their year 3 of Reserve Officer Training Corps training).

2. Applicant has never been sentenced to imprisonment for a crime, unless it is for criminal negligence or a petty offense.

 Specific qualifications

1. Applicant must hold a doctoral degree relating to innovative economy, digital culture, educational media, urban design, or similar fields.
2. Applicant must be experienced in teaching or lecturing at a higher education level. Applicant should have published research papers/or be in the process of developing papers for academic publication.
3. Applicant must have qualified English language skills, which can be declared through successful results in the following schemes:

- IELTS (Academic module): 6.0 or higher

- TOEFL IBT (Internet based): 79 or higher

- TOEFL ITP: 550 or higher

- TOEFL CBT: 213 or higher

- MU GRAD Test: 80 or higher

Please note that the results declared must be within 2 years from the application closure date. If proof of English language proficiency is not declared, the university will not consider the submitted application.

​Remark: If an applicant has completed their doctoral studies or higher with proof of English language proficiency submitted when enrolling in the degree program, the same proof can be used for this application. If an applicant has completed their doctoral studies in English in a country where English is an official language, declaring English language proficiency can be exempted.

1. Applicant must not be subject to conditions applied by any scholarship program.

 Desirable qualifications

1. Academic professional networks abroad and experience conducting research in the fields of multilingualism or multiculturalism in Asia or ASEAN, or an interest in doing comparative or international study.

2. Skilled in communicating in a third language

3. Able to use modern technology to analyze information to produce research in the field of cultural studies.

4. Experience in conducting mixed methods, digital, or big data qualitative research

5. Experience in doing research relating to management, entrepreneurship, or cultural economy

ลักษณะงานที่ปฏิบัติ

            หน้าที่รับผิดชอบโดยย่อ: ปฏิบัติงานหลักเกี่ยวกับการเรียนการสอน การให้คำปรึกษาในการทำวิทยานิพนธ์/สารนิพนธ์ของนักศึกษาในหลักสูตรศิลปศาสตรมหาบัณฑิต สาขาวัฒนธรรมศึกษา รวมถึงสาขาพิพิธภัณฑศึกษา (ในอนาคต) ผลิตผลงานวิชาการ อาทิ ตีพิมพ์เผยแพร่ ผลงานวิจัยและวิชาการ หนังสือ บริการวิชาการ และปฏิบัติหน้าที่อื่นตามที่ได้รับมอบหมาย

Responsibilities

  Teach and mentor students in writing their dissertations for the Master of Arts in Cultural Studies program and museology (in the future), as well as producing academic works for publication, research and other academic production, books, academic services, and perform other duties as assigned.

หลักเกณฑ์การคัดเลือก

            ๑. ผู้สมัครนำเสนอแผนการสอน (course syllabus) ในวิชาใดวิชาหนึ่งของหลักสูตรฯ ที่สะท้อนประเด็นที่ตนเชี่ยวชาญ/สนใจ มิติทางสังคมวัฒนธรรมในปัจจุบันและแนวโน้มอนาคต และความเชื่อมโยงกับแนวคิดหลักและกระบวนการทำงานวิจัยด้านวัฒนธรรมศึกษา จำนวน ๑ วิชา โดยระบุเนื้อหา/หัวข้อการสอนแต่ละครั้ง เอกสารสำหรับนักศึกษาอ่านประกอบในแต่ละครั้ง การวัดผลและประเมินผลการเรียน (ทั้งหมด ๔๕ ชั่วโมง โดยอาจแบ่งเป็นสัปดาห์ละ ๓ ชั่วโมง ๑๕ สัปดาห์ หรือปรับตามความเหมาะสม) โดยมีรายชื่อวิชาเพื่อเลือกวิชาใดวิชาหนึ่งสำหรับนำเสนอแผนการสอนดังนี้

ปรัชญาและกระบวนทัศน์ในการวิจัย หลากหลายทิศทางในการทำวิจัยเกี่ยวกับวัฒนธรรมความรู้ที่แตกต่างกันจากวิธีการวิจัยที่หลากหลายประเภท โครงสร้างของโครงร่างวิจัย โจทย์วิจัย การทบทวนวรรณกรรม การกำหนดขอบเขตการวิจัย และการคำนึงถึงข้อจำกัดในการวิจัย การวางแผนการวิจัย จริยธรรมในการทำงานวิจัย

            ๓. การสอบสัมภาษณ์ โดยพิจารณาจากคุณสมบัติทางวิชาการ ความสามารถในการถ่ายทอดความรู้

Selection Criteria

1.  Applicant presents a lesson plan (course syllabus) for one of the courses listed below which reflects the issues of their expertise/interest in current socio-cultural dimensions and future trends, and linked to principles and research work processes in cultural studies (45 hours total, which may be divided into 3 hours per week, 15 weeks or adjusted as appropriate). The list of subjects to choose from for presenting the lesson plan is as follows:

Multicultural Research Methods

Philosophy and concepts in cross-cultural research, problem identification in cultural diversity, multidisciplinary research design, mixed methods, obtaining data for multicultural research, examining data reliability, analyzing data and interpreting results, report writing, and multicultural research ethics

Rural-Urban Cultural Relations

Critical concepts in relation to urban and rural spaces; problems, conditions and factors in community cultural policy; discourse on cultural development in the Thai context; urban and rural identities and cultural expressions; art practices in different cultural spaces; digital technology and participatory cultures; guidelines on developing cultural policies and development that meet community needs; place making concept, creative economy and sustainable society

Community Design

Concepts and principles of design; reflection-in-action from working with urban and rural communities; cultural entrepreneurism; learning from reality and the digital world; workplace-based and community-based learning

Creative Cultural Enterprises

Key concepts in business design and development from the cultural related topics; characteristics of creative entrepreneurs in understanding the creative entrepreneur ecosystem, organization management skills, evaluation of business performance, and marketing and finance strategies.

Film Archive, Digital Data and Cultural Memories

Concept of historiography and the creation of new knowledge in film culture, the study of film culture and concept of cultural memory for content and discourse analysis; approaches to data collection and data analysis; online participatory cultures; cultural memories through film archives and other different forms of digital data; working with archival materials at film-related archives

2. Applicant makes a presentation based on their previous research, prospective research or dissertation.

3. Applicant is interviewed by the selection committee. The selection criteria include academic qualifications, pedagogical skills, vision and personality suitable for the lecturer position.

Benefits

Salary rate: The rate for a doctoral degree holder is 41,000 baht. The successful candidate’s prior academic experience directly related to the position may qualify for a supplement to the base salary.
